International Conference on Health Informatics and Medical Systems (HIMS)

Welcome to the 2024 Health Informatics and Medical Systems (HIMS) website. HIMS is an international conference that serves researchers, scholars, professionals, students, and academicians who are looking to both foster working relationships and gain access to the latest research results.

All accepted papers will be included in the HIMS’24 conference proceedings, which will be published by Springer Nature (https://www.springernature.com/ )

IMPORTANT: Many universities and institutions require their faculty and PhD students to publish papers indexed in major Science Citation Index (SCI) systems. Due to overwhelming requests from authors, we decided to choose a publisher more proactive in the SCI indexing process than the one previously announced. We are pleased to report that on June 16, Springer Nature's management informed us they will meet our indexing needs. Therefore, all accepted papers for CSCE 2024 will benefit from enhanced and elevated SCI indexing. INDEXATION: The published proceedings will be submitted for indexing in the CPCI, part of Clarivate Analytics' Web of Science; Scopus; EI Engineering Index; Google Scholar; DBLP; and others . Those interested in proposing workshops/sessions, should refer to the "Sessions / Workshop Proposals" for details.

HIMS is being held jointly (same location and dates) with a number of other research conferences; namely, The 2024 World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing (CSCE'24). The CSCE Congress is among the top five largest international annual gathering of researchers in computer science, computer engineering and applied computing.

The primary goal of this conference is to provide a platform for researchers, scientists, industry experts and scholars to share their novel ideas and research results on the application of human cognition models in various practical computing applications. Through this conference, the organizers would like to develop an interdisciplinary venue to contribute and discuss the ongoing innovations, applications and solutions to challenging problems of engineering human brain processes, learning mechanisms and decision-making processes.

Health Informatics and Medical Systems is an important area that is at the intersection of information science, computer science, social science, behavioural science and health care. This field is mainly concerned with the resources, devices, and methods required to optimize the acquisition, storage, retrieval, processing and use of information in health and biomedicine. Health informatics is driven by computers, information and communication systems. It is a multi-disciplinary field that covers a wide spectrum of sub-fields. It combines the problem solving skills of computer scientists with health care professionals and health care givers.
